Job Description

EY is seeking a Risk Auditor specialising in Technology / IT Audit, reporting to Mbali. The role is Manager level (or slightly below on budget grounds). The successful candidate will conduct IT and technology risk audits across EY client engagements. 4 other agencies are working this role — speed of submission is critical.

Requirements

Big 4 background (Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, EY) or Big 4-trained candidates who moved into banking/financial services. Manager level preferred; slightly below Manager acceptable for strong profiles. Cape Town based or willing to relocate. No SARS/government-sector candidates. Must be open to slightly below top-of-market salary (~7% above budget cap maximum).

Additional Information

Meeting with Mbali (EY) on 2026-03-26. Full spec to be chased from Mbali — not yet received. 4 competing agencies on this role. Approach: target slightly below Manager OR strong candidates open to lower salary. Also look at banking + audit profiles. Cape Town location is non-negotiable unless candidate confirms relocation.
