Application Developer (Java Full Stack)

Develop applications as a Java Full Stack Developer, working on both front-end and back-end components. Responsibilities include cloud development, implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices, and working with event-driven architectures and messaging systems. The role is for a contractor for approximately 9 months, working 40 hours per week in a hybrid arrangement.

6+ years of experience at a Mid to Senior level. Mandatory Technical Skills: Java Full Stack Development (strong expertise in front-end and back-end), Spring Framework, Quarkus framework, cloud development, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, GitOps practices and tooling, ArgoCD, Terraform, Agile environments, DevOps background, CI/CD practices, Prometheus monitoring, Grafana dashboards, event-driven architectures, Apache Kafka, AMQP and other messaging protocols, understanding of distributed systems. Mandatory Soft Skills: Mid-Senior level professional communication, ability to work independently in hybrid environments, strong collaboration skills across distributed teams, problem-solving and analytical thinking, adaptability to changing project requirements.
