Logistics Manager

Oversee all warehousing and transport operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and sustainable logistics performance while supporting diverse market demands. Responsibilities include managing warehousing teams (performance management and development), implementing systems to optimise warehouse and transport operations, coordinating logistics activities with internal stakeholders, overseeing inventory and distribution (including shared tenant facilities), rolling out new logistics processes, handling equipment and packaging solutions, ensuring compliance with ISO 9000, OSH Act and relevant legislation, providing accurate operational and financial reports, controlling budgets and developing 3-year Capex plans, supporting new projects with facility selection, layout design, racking and staff training, and driving Continuous Improvement (CI) and World Class Manufacturing (WCM) initiatives.

Qualifications: Grade 12, BCom in Industrial Engineering or Logistics Management. Knowledge & Skills: SAP (SD, PP, MM), MS Office & MS BI, Warehousing, Transport & Supply Chain Management, Contract, Quality, Project & Financial Management, Knowledge of LRA, OSH Act & Road Traffic Act, Strong leadership, planning and analytical skills. Experience: 8–10 years operational management in Supply Chain/Manufacturing, 5 years general management in Logistics/Manufacturing, Experience in warehousing, transport, planning and procurement, Working knowledge of Six Sigma and CI methodologies.
