Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (minimum). Professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA or equivalent) is highly advantageous. Several years of relevant accounting/finance experience at an intermediate to senior level, with demonstrated experience in month-end close, GL reconciliations, VAT 201 preparation and submission, inventory and operational understanding, working across multiple entities and/or countries, and high-volume transactional environments with large datasets. Experience within a multinational or shared services environment is an advantage. Strong grasp of core accounting principles (IFRS/US GAAP), ability to apply these principles accurately, comfort working with large datasets from different systems, and practical problem-solving skills for reconciliations and analysis. Core competencies include technical accounting assessment & application of accounting standards, strong financial reporting and analysis capability, understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements, business process and internal control awareness, high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritise under pressure.
